Got blog-spammed

Today I opened the blog and saw my last piece had got 6 comments.
"Yes!", I thought, "the 1st comments". Only to discover they only were some f.....g spam ads for cheap viagra and diamond rings and german porn, none of which I need nor want to see on my blog. Unless they were MAIF related.

Until further notice, I have restricted access to the comments to only the members of the blog. If you want to leave a comment, chances are you know someone who knows someone in the board, and then you'll be able to get in touch with me so I allow you in.

In the mean time, I'll try to figure a solution to get rid of these bast..ds and still allow MAIFmink-compliant discussion. I'll come back when I have.

Another loss, but hey, they lead for a reason

Another lost game, this time against the leader of the league. The 2 top dogs AIK and Öster are really ahead of the pack, so we can do our best, but sometimes even that is not good enough. Öster got help from a pajas, but AIK did just beat us, fair and square, end of discussion.

Now that these 2 big shots are gone, unfortunately but not unexpectedly without a single point, we need to focus on getting above that damn line. Right on that spot there's a group of 3:
  • Falkenberg: they seem to have found some shape, and have not lost too much recently. Besides, we've played both games against them, so they can keep on winning as long as the others are losing.
  • Boden: less even than Falkenberg, but some ok games. They're this season's last game, so it should not depend on that one.
  • Degerfors: maybe even less even if I may say. Next next game, away.

Next game is home this sunday against Trelleborg. Kind of a derby again, we have to win this one. They've not won in a while, so they'll have their morale in their socks, let's make sure it stays there. And they're only 2 points above the group of 3, so it would be a good win.

8 games to go MAIF, it's not a lost cause. Forget the past 2 games where not much could be done or hoped for anyway, and meet every new game like you did meet Västerås. Be aggressive everywhere. Secure all your passes. Provoke. Goals don't come out of nowhere, nor from 1 single person. I'd like to have Zizou or Titi in the team to make their wonders, but until either of them signs for MAIF, we just need everyone in his own place to make his job with outmost application.

As Mink #2 would say: "Zere is no sicret, if you work, you get rizults".

Template and various updates

Ok it's starting to take shape. I'm not 100% satisfied of the color scheme, but that'll do for now. Damn CSS style sheets is weird. And my HTML is all rusty. So it's all going slooooow.

In a side-note, I've had a couple of ideas for added content on this page. I mean, it's fun bashing on the referees, but it's better if you can do it with style. Come back in a while while I'm working on it.

Anyway, I'm out for the week-end, so I'll start again earliest monday night.

Forza MAIF. Please don't lose on sunday, I'd even say win if you can. I know it's AIK, and they're 1st of the league, but still, we need the points if we're to stay.

A new Pajas

Shit, we'll to start numbering the pajas. A new one has been discovered during yesterday's game against Öster.

So Mr Pajas #2, I'll have to give you a Yellow Card for simulation during yesterday's game: there's no way you were judging; sleeping maybe, doing some work-out probably, but that was no fair and balanced judging of a football game we witnessed.

Who the *&%# are the French Minks?

The bureau of the French Minks is made of 3 permanent members:
  • Patrice - ze boss, although right now he's in love so we don't see him at the games much
  • Bruno - ze photograph, alias "Mr Scandal"
  • Arnaud - That's me you hear shouting in french at the games. I'll also try to set this page up.

We have also designated one (so far) honorary member, Chippen, in reward for his brave and just action against a clown, known as Ze Pajas.

There are also supporting members:
  • Maria - ze graphist, well the logo so far
