Martin Vozabal lost for MAIF

"The most popular player of Dynamo Budejovice, Martin Vozabal, moved to FC Slovacko. He packed his property and left his club on Monday morning. He got many offers, even from Sweden, but he gave priority to a profitable contract with FC Slovacko."

As reported on the Dynamo Budejovice homepage this morning, Martin Vozabal will not come to Mjällby. He has signed for the FC Slovacko instead of the Lister club. It´s a big disapointment because last week it was ok for MAIF at 99%, according to local media.

.... or was it 99% sure that he should sign for FC Slovacko which had been reported on the mink forum last week ?

Unfortunalty for Mjällby Vozabal has chosen to stay in the Czech republic. He leaves his previous club Dynamo Budejovice, who join the highest league next season, for FC Slovacko also in the first league. He has signed a 3 years-contract. Slovacko was the same club were we found Dusan Melicharek.

The Mjällby board has announced that they didn´t look at any other players than Vozabal since they where sure they would make the deal. Could this open for a return of Pavel Zavadil - the hero of last year?

Hi Mjallby!
I am Milan, Mjallby supporter from Czech Republic, i making this blog... http://svedskyfotbal.blogspot.com/, Maria and Bruno know me really good. So i want add some comment for situation about Martin Vozabal, it was clear before maybe ten days that Martin will go to FC Slovacko, he told it for the newspapers, like reason he introduced that Slovacko offered him better offer (money...money...money...) moreover it was clear that in Slovacko he can play better league than superettan and he can stay still in his country. I really dont know why somebody in Sweden released information about big chance to move Vozabal to Sweden. It was fake... Martin was satisfied with condition in Mjallby and he told on pressconference maybe too much optimistic words, which some local journalists take like accept of contract between Vozabal and Mjallby. But the true is that Vozabal was too expensive for Mjallby and moreover he think that Mjallby have some bigger ambition than safe in superettan. I am sad that transfer failed but it was really clear for a long time, i must appeal to Mjallby managment from my opinion they making a bad transfer politic. Mjallby really need playmaker...central midfielder...but how you can attract some player to play in Mjallby if Mjallby managment in real dont know how do they want....and how much it cost....
sorry for my english....

Thank you for your informations Sporttipy-Milan. Mjällby managed well with Pavel. This time it didn´t went so well with Vozabal. I hope that the "Czech link" has not been killed by this missed transfer.
